More and more we are seeing a push in our lives and our world for escape, fantasy, and an illusory reality that can be made to be whatever we like. There is with that a developing condition of people, especially young people who are surrounded and battered by theory, philosophy and lies of this world to ignore, avoid, and become disinterested in that which is real. Our goal and vision as Reality 5280 is to meet students here on this front and confront them with truth; to enter reality. We want to see assumptions about God, The Bible, Church, Prayer, Worship, and Life as a whole transformed by the Real work of God by the power of Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. We want to see tradition and religion cast aside as student’s relationship and walk with God become a REALITY.

Meet and know Jesus Christ
Before anything else we want to be a ministry where young people can meet Jesus Christ…
- No matter who they are, what they look like, or where they’re coming from… – 1 Timothy 1:15, Mark 2:17
-As their Savior as they encounter the Lord for the first time. – John 14:6
-Continually as their source of life and nourishment as we enter into prayer and worship and study His word. – John 15:1 – 8
Be Equipped and Matured
Further our purpose is through prayer, worship, the clear and systematic study of God’s Word and practical discipleship to see students make their walk with the Lord a reality
- Understanding that being a Christian cannot be a merely title that we assume but a REAL IDENTITY that we take on. – Romans 12:2
- Equipping ourselves for a real war that we will fight for the rest of our lives. – 2 Timothy 4:7
- To the end that we may be like Christ. – Ephesians 5:1 and 2 Corinthians 7:1
Engage and Endure
Through this we want to see Students engage…
- every foothold of the enemy in their lives having learned to kill sin… – Romans 8:13
- and then in their city and to the world at large as they catch the vision of revival… Matthew 20:18-20
- Enduring having become a REAL UNIT of believers that supports, encourages, and does battle for each other far beyond the short time they are a part of this ministry…
